Jesse Stecklow lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. A major solo exhibition of Stecklow’s recent practice, entitled Terminal, took place at mumok, Vienna in 2022. Other recent solo exhibitions include Sweetwater, Berlin (2023, 2019); Bainbridge House, Princeton University Art Museum, New Jersey (2021); M+B, Los Angeles (2018); and Chicken Coop Contemporary, Portland (2017). Institutional group exhibitions include The Living House, Kunstverein Braunschweig (2021); The Position of the Sun in the Sky, White Columns, New York (2021); Dust: The Plates of the Present, Centre Pompidou, Paris (2020); and After Babel, Moderna Museet, Stockholm (2015). Stecklow was a 2017 recipient of the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Grant. Stecklow’s work is held in the permanent collections of The Centre Pompidou, Paris and mumok, Vienna.
